Wageira Yurumein Home Childcare is a trilingual program based on child development which approaches the theories of Montessori, Regio Emilia, Soy Bilingue curriculum, Creative curriculum and others. Learning through play is viewed as the cornerstone of the curriculum. We provide protection, security, stimulation, support, limits, and affection. Children are respected as individuals within a child-oriented rather than teacher-directed program. Children are given the opportunity to explore materials and participate in a variety of experiences. We use a time-based model for organizing language usage in our trilingual language (Garifuna, English and Spanish).
