It is the philosophy of Mrs. April’s Place, that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, education, exploration and discovery. Mrs. April’s Place we provide an atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth through the children’s play and small group instruction. The curriculum includes dramatic play, creative art activities, music, science activities, block play, sensory experiences, daily outdoor activities, the celebration of birthdays, and holidays. Children will explore shapes, colors, numbers, and letters through developmentally appropriate activities taught using small group instruction in English and Spanish.
