With our motto “Believe Children Can”, Blakemore Children's Center strives to meet the individual needs of each child and family. We provide a loving and nurturing home-like environment for childcare and early childhood education that is nationally accredited through NAEYC, and 3-star rated by the TN Dept. of Human Services. BCC has two mixed-age programs. The infant/toddler program serves ages 6 weeks-30 months, and the preschool works with children ages 2.5 years-5 years. All meals are provided, and prepared on site by our cook. The daily curriculum originates from children’s interests in themes or projects. The program is infused with an anti-bias approach to education to enhance the sense of community in a diverse world.
