Alzheimer s Day Services of Memphis, Inc., (ADS) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) dementia-specific adult day program that provides personal care services and organized, therapeutic activities for persons with Alzheimer s disease and other related dementias (stroke, Parkinson s, etc.). The service that ADS provides is two-fold: to the participant, the one with the diagnosis of dementia, and to his/her family that is also devastated by the disease. ADS offers an innovative, thoughtfully designed therapeutic activity day program that can prevent, divert or delay the need for institutionalized care and its associated financial and emotional costs.
