The Church of the Good Shepherd has been offering developmentally appropriate care for children of working parents, in a Christian environment, since 1955. Good Shepherd Day School is a ministry of the Church of the Good Shepherd. Good Shepherd Day School was the first child care center in the Rocky Mount area to provide quality child care to a racially, socio-economically, and culturally diverse population. Over the years, Good Shepherd Day School has changed shape several times always adapting to the needs of the community. However, the rich history and superior rating of our Day School program speaks to the stable environment that you will find here for children, teachers, and parents.
