Here at Smith Memorial, we strive to create an enriching environment for child development and growth. Our focus is to cultivate independent learners, ensure a safe emotional and physical space, and provide opportunities for both academic and social growth. Smith Memorial Daycare began over 55 years ago as a mission of the Epworth United Methodist Church. What started as a mission to provide affordable and quality child care to working families soon became the first licensed daycare facility in Kalispell, Montana. Through the years of support by volunteers, the community, and the Epworth United Methodist Church, the legacy of Smith Memorial Daycare lives on.
