The Adult Day Healthcare Center is located in our Oldham County Senior Life Enrichment Center in Buckner. Scheduling is flexible to meet the caregiver’s needs; you choose the hours and days for attendance. Transportation may be arranged to increase the client’s feeling of independence or because it is needed. Our clients are typically over 60 years of age and need supervision because of dementia caused by Alzheimer’s disease, a stroke, Parkinson’s disease, or nearly 150 other medical conditions. They have difficulty thinking clearly or making good/safe choices. However, people who may wander off or may be easily agitated or aggressive will be considered on an individual basis.
