For over 37 years, Orchard House has served aging adults in the community with compassionate care and social enrichment programs that encourage independence and foster friendships. Our mission is to allow members to age at home with dignity and enhanced quality of life by offering therapeutic programming and medical supervision while providing important respite to families and caregivers. Founded in 1981, we serve primarily adults with Alzheimer's or other cognitive impairments, memory loss, or physical disabilities in the Greater New Haven/Shoreline area. We have a fleet of 5 handicapped accessible vans that pick up and drop off members at home. We provide a light breakfast and a USDA approved lunch in our communal dining room.
