Kheir Mirae Adult Day Health Care Center provides Community-Based Adult Services (CBAS), a Medi-Cal Managed Care benefit that stresses partnership in working toward maintaining personal independence. CBAS provides day health services to older adults and adults with chronic medical, cognitive or behavioral health conditions and/or disabilities. Services include nursing services, physical & occupational therapy, speech therapy, mental health care, hot meals, therapeutic activities, social services, personal care, nutritional counseling, and transportation to/from the participant's residence. Individuals who are 18 years of age and older who meet specific medical necessity and are currently eligible for Medi-Cal are eligible for CBAS.
